Marathon was formed following a management buyout of Pointbreak Entrepreneurs from the Pointbreak Group, with a cross-shareholding still existing between Marathon and Pointbreak.
The name Marathon is closely associated with the attributes of entrepreneurially minded businesses and attributes such as fitness, self-belief, resilience, disciplined, energetic, focused, confident and experienced come to mind. The challenge lies in equipping oneself to reach the end-goal and understanding that building a sustainable business is not a sprint. Similarly, building a legacy means that there is seldom a finishing line but rather a series of phases which each require careful planning, implementation and stamina.
The strap line of Let's go recognises that business owners are often inhibited from fulfilling their potential because of capacity or skills constraints. Let's go reflects the confidence and encouragement that we bring to our clients by running with them and injecting the required skills, coaching and support.
